I'm a Senior Product Designer at Singapore's Open Government Products, an experimental government wing that takes a ground-up approach to solving the nation's problems. Currently, I design AI tools for 120,000+ government officers in Singapore—think doctors analyzing thousands of patient cases or policy officers drafting complex submissions. My job is making powerful AI feel effortless so officers can focus on what matters.
As the only designer on lean government teams, I work scrappily across design, user research, product strategy, QA, prompt engineering, creating evaluation frameworks and coding prototypes. I love the chaos of building in spaces where there's no rulebook, doing anything it takes to solve problems that Singaporeans face. I've also launched AskGov (one platform for all government queries) and Rooster (healthcare messaging system).
I was a part-time adjunct lecturer teaching design to Year 1 students at Singapore Institute of Technology. Before joining public service, I started out designing physical products at STUCK and designed for Adobe and Shell at Foolproof.
In my free time, I illustrate as @rachodoodles—from Spotify campaigns to tiny neighborhood bakeries—and build silly apps like mahjong games because technology should be fun too.
Growing up, I learnt that a warm bowl of noodles and cut fruits is a language of care. So here's some virtual care from me to you, and thank you for stopping by!
